Methoni’s beach is shallow and sandy which is perfect for me…while a strong swimmer I don’t like being out of my depth in the sea. The water in Methoni is so clear – and refreshing to swim in on a hot Summer’s day (or, as we’re now in to October, a hot Autumn day). Continue Reading →

I set off for the Kalamaris Waterfalls – Καταρράκτης Καλαμάρης. It took a while to find them as they are not well signed from the road, Google maps takes you to the wrong place, and the actual road there is just a dirt track. Continue Reading →
