Ξανά στον δρόμο, χρειαστήκαμε συνολικά τρεις ώρες για να επιστρέψουμε στη Θεσσαλονίκη, μαζί με τη στάση. Μετά από αυτό, χρειαζόμασταν οπωσδήποτε μια βουτιά. Ένα μέρος του χώρου γύρω από το μπαρ της πισίνας ήταν κλειστό, καθώς το ετοίμαζαν για μια «ιδιωτική εκδήλωση». Μπορούσαμε ακόμη να κολυμπήσουμε, απλώς έπρεπε να μείνουμε στη μία άκρη της πισίνας. Back in the car, it took us a total of 3 hours to drive back to Thess (including stopping time). A swim was needed after that. Part of the poolside bar complex was closed for the setup of a “private function”. We could still swim – just had to swim at one end. We could still eat in the evening -just at one end. Which we did. The last time I was on Thassos was when I drove myself, the whole way, in my car from England – I am quite used to getting on and off Greek ferries. Being directed to go down the ramp from the main car deck to the lower deck, didn’t phase me at all. We call this the “Thunderbird” because the ramp pops up out of the deck, muck like the takeoff ramp for Thunderbird 2! Continue Reading
