There are several tavernas along the beach front in Agnondas and we chose the ‘Mouria’ to eat at. It was still daylight and not long past 7 by the time we left the beach to go and eat – early for us as we usually don’t eat until 8.30/9 by which time the sun has already set. Continue Reading

After travelling yesterday, we didn’t go far today. Breakfast was a buffet at the pool bar, with a good selection of things to choose from: Greek yoghurt, bread, ham, cheese, loukoumades (honey balls), cake, biscuits, croissants, hard boiled eggs. I had a bit of everything! Continue Reading
I spent much of the early part of the flight looking out the window spotting places I’d been: Calais could be seen clearly as could Brussels, much of the German Rheinland and Bavaria. I gazed out the window for hours longing to be down on the ground driving the Autobahns and Bundesstraßen, radio playing loud and windows rolled down – much better than being stuck in a tin can, even if like today there were quite a few empty seats. Πήγαμε με το μετρό για Σύνταγμα και φάγαμε πίτα γύρος σε μία ταβέρνα στο Σύνταγμα. Μετά, κάναμε εκδρομή γύρο τις Αθήνας με το λεωφορείο του City Sightseeing.
Η παραλία στη Λυγιά έχει καθαρά και ήρεμα νερά. Ο ήλιος έλαμψε όλη την ημέρα και έκανα ζέστο. Κάναμε μπάνιο στην θάλασσα και εγώ διάβασα το βιβλίο μου στην παραλία.
Για 2 εβδομάδες μένουμε σε διαμέρισμα στη Λυγιά (Δωμάτια Πολυξένη). Η Λυγιά βρίσκεται στην ανατολική ακτή της Λευκάδας (απέναντη από την ηπειρωτική χώρα). Ταξιδέψαμε από Αερολιμένας Πρέβεζας με ταξί.
Σήμερα το πήγαμε στην παραλία Αγ. Κυριακής και κάναμε μπάνιο στην θάλασσα. Φάγαμε στο σνακ μπαρ Άνεμος. Το απόγευμα οι γονείς μου πήγανε την παραλία Πόρτο, και εγώ γύρισα στο διαμέρισμα να ξεκουραστώ.
Κάναμε εκδρομή σήμερα με το πούλμαν. Φύγαμε από την Χώρα στις 11 και πήγαμε στο Ξινάρα, στο χωριό της Πύργου, στην παραλία Κολυμπήθρα, και στο μοναστήρι.
