Η Ολυμπιάδα είχε λιγότερο κόσμο απ’ ό,τι το Σαββατοκύριακο, οπότε υπήρχε άφθονος χώρος για εμάς στην παραλία. In the afternoon, we got in the car and headed to the nearby town of Ολυμπιάδα (Olympiada), about a 20 minute drive down the coast in the neighbouring region of Χαλκιδική (Halkidiki). The beach there was packed – we should have known: The final Saturday in August. It isn’t a bank holiday weekend in Greece, but many tourists are finishing their holidays this weekend.
