Ολυμπιάδα Χαλκιδικής 🇬🇷
I didn’t sleep well last night and wasn’t feeling too well this morning, so I stayed indoors, out of the intense heat of the sun, until after 5pm.
When I did later feel ok and we went out, we drove back to Ολυμπιάδα (Olympiada), about 15 minutes down the coast from where we are staying in Stavros.
Olympiada was less busy than at the weekend so there was plenty of space for us on the beach. Olympiada’s beach is nice and sandy, and shallow for a long way out. The sea at this time of year is so warm as well.
It was after 7 by the time we left the beach. For dinner this evening we went back to the Konstantinos grill house for gyros. I had chicken souvlaki with chips, and squeezed some lemon over the top of it. Mum and I had crepes after. I had chocolate. Very tasty – but also very filling. They were big!
