Παραλία Κακούδια, Ιερισσός Χαλκιδικής 🇬🇷
The first half of our holiday is now almost over – tomorrow we move on to the second half of the holiday, which is on the island of Thassos. But for today – we made the most of the warm sunny weather and went to a beach about 50 minutes South of Stavros.
Παραλία Κακούδια – Kakoudia Beach – about 2 km from Ιερισσός (Ierissos) – is one we went to last time we stayed here 4 years ago. Its a lovely sandy beach, with a quiet beach bar, and plenty of parking.
The water was so clear! And warm, so I did swim a few times today. We had lunch at the beach too, I opted for a souvlaki.
Back at the apartment this evening, we went out for dinner; I chose to have κοκκινιστό μοσχαράκι which is the beef stew in a tomato sauce, served with chips.
Tomorrow, it is about a 90 minute drive along the motorway to Keramoti, where we get the ferry over to Thassos.
