I’m back home today after a long journey home. I was woken up this morning by a very friendly cat who wanted breakfast. The cat joined me in my room for a bit of a fuss and sat on the bed The cat seemed to know where the fridge was……
I shared breakfast – some bread and honey and a croissant – with another cat. What is it about cats that they just decide they like me!?

After I left my room I drove down to the beach. At first I went to Αυλάκι (Avlaki) which I went to a couple of times when I stayed in Athens after leaving uni, 9 years ago now. However as it was quite windy and I was getting sandblasted I didn’t stay.

I instead drove in to Πόρτο Ράφτη (Porto Rafti) itself, and found that to be much calmer, with no wind.
I do like the sea front in Porto Rafti – I could have stayed all day if I didn’t have a flight to catch. Only 15 minutes drive from the airport…. a 3 hour flight back to Heathrow…. and a 90 minute drive back to Cirencester.

Bye, Greece – until next time 🙂
Καληνύχτα,
Φρεντ.
